The cottage combines a rustic country feel with a modern twist. With its low beamed ceilings, stripped original floorboards, seagrass carpets and eclectic furniture, the cottage accommodation provides everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in the South Hams. The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 first floor bedrooms, all with sea views. It has an open plan kitchen / dining area at the heart of the home. There is a lounge with an open fire, comfortable sofas, window seats and sea views. The front garden has a terraced and decked area overlooking the beach and the Devon coast round to Start Point.

The area: Torcross has a small store and post office, pub and cafes, and the nearest towns in the South Hams with supermarkets are Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Devon’s popular South West Coast Path runs by the cottage and sea fishing from the beach is a year round recreation. Torcross is famous as the location of exercises in preparation for the Normandy landings in WW2 and there is a salvaged Sherman tank in the village. Slapton Ley, a freshwater lake and nature reserve, lies behind Slapton Sands and the scenic coast road to Dartmouth. There are numerous small villages and hamlets to visit, including nearby Slapton village and Stokenham, both with pubs. Dartmoor lies to the North.
